Study on Measures to Enhance Investment into Agricultural Sector in Africa funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan (March 2011)

The study is expected to: 1) identify issues inhibiting private sector investement into each pf the stages of yam and casssava value chain; and to 2) Endotsxe measures to overcome those issues and to promote investement into the sector. The over all goal is to contribute to ensuring secure and stable food supply to the inhabitants of Sub-Sashara Africa. Consequently, this is expected to the global food security.
